Trompe L'Oeil ~the victorian art of "deceive the eye" I really enjoy challenges and this was no exception. Teaching 12 year olds and up the concepts of Trompe L'oeil stretched my brain and brush to the limits. Some really listened, some of them really just did not get it at all! They all seemed to enjoy painting and that is what really matters isn't it?The Mobile Museum of Art has been my summer teaching place for several years now. I really have a great time with the kids and love to see their faces light up when they really "get it".
