The post that almost didn't happen!

Goodness today has been a day to end all days.
I'm just tired after helping at the gallery from 10-4pm.
We rehung almost every space and the Gallery looks fantastic!
Up and down a ladder all afternoon.
Looking forward to seeing everything finished, Stewart is adding
a one foot deep shelf all the way around the gallery space.
Tomorrow however, is helping Sister in law with appointments because her truck is pitching fits.
Coming home, riding the rottens (5 dachshunds).
Then eating leftovers for dinner and cleaning up.
Spending time with Chris going to get ice cream.
Heading to the studio to work.

I started the painting this morning before leaving to go help at the gallery.
I completed it this evening after a few hours of intense work.
So many people don't realize the pains we go through to
complete works in time to hang them at shows.
It frequently is full time work, although when you love what you do it hardly seems like work.
Anyhow, I'm done for the day and I hope you enjoy the new piece!

Close encounter, Acrylic on canvas, shadowbox 24x24 inches
