A loggerhead for class

This was a quick painting done as a demonstration for a class I'm teaching in August
at the Stewart Heath Gallery.
It's an open class and anyone can come, you just need to sign up for it soon!

Today found us going to breakfast and church.
The afternoon was spent working on items for the
summer surge (VBS) at our church in August.
We have put together several things already in preparation for a large
work group tomorrow at the church.
This years theme is "Wonder".
It involves lots of oversized items that will be able to cause wonder in the eyes of the children.
We may even use the items for our float at Christmas in downtown Fairhope.
A giant hairbrush, mirror, lipstick, monster truck, oversized art supplies, rubicks cube, dice, pizza slices, and other various assorted items will be built over the next few days.
There's even a rocket and a large globe.
Good thing our church now has a man-lift to suspend things from the ceiling!
I even have to build a working robot costume.
Life is going to be interesting for the next few weeks.
