Octopus escaping

I just love painting octopus!

They are so fun with all their tentacles.

Did you know?

Octopus have 3 hearts.

They have the neurons in each of their arms making them have essentially 9 brains.

Each arm has 250 suckers.

Their arms if separated from the main body, can still move for several hours.

(Thus eating "live" octopus can kill you! About 5 people a year die from it!)

All octopus have venom.

The blue ringed octopus has a deadly venom for humans, you won't even feel the bite!

Their blood is bluish in color.

If their "beak" fits through an opening, the rest of the octopus will too!

Fascinating, funky, and fun to watch.

And really fun to paint!

I also worked on the steampunk piece for several hours today.

I am really liking this one!
